The best-laid plans

What happened to that little road trip we were taking? We'll I've decided to stretch it throughout the summer. In the meantime, before we reach our next destination, I wanted to share a little bit of what is going on around the studio at the moment.

I usually keep mum on my studio work but I think we are so close to completion that with permission I have shared just a peek. The last few months have been consumed with several client projects that entail a mix of clothing design along with photography and marketing work. Look for these to feature soon. 

There is one cool memory quilt on the design board awaiting completion. And of course there is the job I always take on during the summer - cruise director. This entails holding on desperately to the title of Twister Champion as well as endless hours of Scrabble and swimming and of course, road tripping.

On the horizon, the next issue of Refueled, an opportunity to purchase Stash Studios photography, a new line of Stash Studios originals and a series of Stash Studios podcasts. I have recruited a very entertaining cast of characters to assist me in bringing some Stash Studios projects to the little screen of podcasting. 

And finally, I am on my way out the door to meet up with one of my favorite guitarists who is helping me record an audio track for a Stash Studios podcast commercial. Woo-hoo!

Vintage Ride

Nothing beats a weekend that includes a good vintage ride. Especially one like this 1969 Mercury Cougar Convertible that we scored for a photo shoot.

Yesterday Mr. Stash Studios called on his way to a concert and wanted help with what parking lots were available. Let me check the parking maps...

Several times I've gotten a call from my friend Jenny as she was on her way downtown to Adkins on a junk hunt. Now what street was it? Let me pull up googlemap...

Regularly, come spring and fall, I get calls...Now when is Warrenton? Let me email you some schedules...

Several weeks ago Jamie told me about her son's class project. What could we make? Let me email you something I saw in Family Fun...

Last Tuesday, my mom called and said, "Hello, is this chikipedia? I need to understand what a caucus is." Let me look into it and I'll get right back to you...

My New Pad

Welcome to my new home! I'm not sure if it is the lightning or the leap year, but I'm ready to shake things up in the studio. So hold on to your hats.

Having been without consistent internet access for over a week I am busting with things to share but I'm going to give you a moment to check out the new site.
